Essays will be marked by the end of January 2015 and winners will be invited to Christ College Open Day on Tuesday 17th February 2015 for prize presentations. To enter, write an essay of no more than 2,500 words on one of the following:
- Do acts of public commemoration distort historical understanding?
- Is gender history simply history with the men left out?
- Is the principal task of the historian to tell the truth?
- What can clothes tell us about the past that the written word cannot?
